Quick and Easy Tomato Carrot Mariana Sauce

Bright with carrots, onions, garlic and dried Italian herbs, this tomato sauce comes together quickly as one delicious dish!

Ingredients

  • 2 Tablespoons of Olive Oil
  • 1 Piece of Onion, Chopped
  • 1 Clove of Garlic, Minced
  • 1 Piece of Carrot, Diced
  • 1 Can of Tomato Sauce
  • 1 1/2 Teaspoons of Dried Basil
  • 1 1/2 Teaspoons of Dried Oregano
  • 3/4 Teaspoon of Salt
  • A Pinch of Black Pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon of Unsalted Butter
  • Fresh Parsley, Chopped

Steps

  1. Take a multicooker, open and unlock the lid by turning the handle to the unlock position. With the lid still open, turn the handle to the lock position.
  2. Press the [MENU SELECTION] button to select the [OVEN] function. Set the cooking time for 10 minutes and heating level 3 then press [COOK].
  3. Add butter with olive oil into the pot, add onions, garlic and carrots then stir occasionally until the onions are soft. Add tomatoes, basil, oregano, black pepper and salt.
  4. Press the [MENU SELECTION] button to select the [MULTICOOK] function. Set the cooking time for 10 minutes and temperature 120 degrees then press [COOK].
  5. Serve with your favourite pasta sprinkled with fresh parsley leaves.
