Mutton Masala

Ingredients

  • 500 Grams of Mutton, Cut into Cubes
  • 3 Large Onions, Sliced Thinly
  • 2 Pieces of Tomato, Chopped
  • 390 Grams of Yogurt
  • 1 Tablespoon of Ghee or Oil

Spices

  • 3 Tablespoons of Chili Powder
  • 4 Pieces of Star Anise
  • 5 Pieces Cardamom Pods
  • 1 Stick of Cinnamon
  • 4 Cloves
  • 2 Teaspoons of Coriander Powder
  • 2 Teaspoons of Cumin Seeds
  • 2 Tablespoons of Garam Masala
  • 2 Stems of Curry Leaves
  • Salt and Sugar to Taste

To Blend

  • 2 Pieces or Large Onions
  • 3 Cloves of Garlic

Steps

  1. With the lid open, turn the handle to the lock position, press the [MENU SELECTION] button to select the [MULTICOOK] function and press [COOK].
  2. Add the ghee into the pot and let it heat up. Add and sauté all the spices, blended onions and garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add all the other ingredients into the pot. Turn the handle to the unlock position, close the lid and turn the handle to the lock position. Press the [MENU SELECTION] button to [STEW] function. Press [COOK] and allow to cook for about 25 to 30 minutes.
  4. Serve and enjoy!
