Asparagus with Lemon Hollandaise

An amazing dish with steamed asparagus and a deliciously creamy lemon hollandaise

Ingredients

  • 350 Grams of Asparagus
  • 4 Tablespoons of Butter
  • 1 Tablespoon of Water
  • 1 Piece of Lemon
  • 1 Tablespoon of Salt
  • 3 Pieces of Egg Yolk
  • 1 Teaspoon of Cayenne
  • 170 ml of Water

Steps

  1. Open and unlock the multicooker lid by turning the handle to the unlock position. Place the asparagus and 170ml of water into the pot. Close and lock the lid by turning the handle to the lock position.
  2. Press the [MENU SELECTION] button and select the [STEAM] function. Set the cooking time for 10 minutes and set the heating level 3 and press [COOK].
  3. Take out the asparagus and place it on to a place. Drain the water from the pot. Put the pot back into the cooker.
  4. With the lid still open turn the handle to the lock position. Press the [MENU SELECTION] button and select the [OVEN] function. Set the cooking time for 10 minutes and temperature level 2 then press [COOK].
  5. Add butter into the pot and let it melt. Once melted, add egg yolk one at a time while stirring continuously.
  6. Once the eggs and butter ingredients are mixed. Add salt, cayenne and fresh lemon juice and stir.
  7. Once the cooking time is finished, pour the sauce over the cooked asparagus and serve.
