In a separate bowl, put the beef and coat it with salt and pepper.
Take a multicooker, unlock and open the lid by turning the handle to the unlock position. With the lid still open, turn the lid to the lock position.
Press the [MENU SELECTION] button to select the [OVEN] function. Set the cooking time for 20 minutes and heating level 3 then press [COOK]
Add the beef into the pot and brown it. Once brown remove from the heat by putting it on to a separate plate.
With the remaining oil from the beef, add onions and stir-fry for 3 minutes. Add garlic, bay leaf, thyme, beef stock and water then stir to mix all the ingredients.
Put the beef, potatoes and carrots into the pot then season with salt and pepper.
Once the cooking time is finished, close and lock the lid by turning the handle to the lock position.
Press the [MENU SELECTION] button to select the [MULTICOOK] function. Set the cooking time for 20 minutes and temperature 120 degrees then press [COOK].
