Taro Rice

Hearty meal that served with sweet potato to elevate your taste buds

  • 150g Chicken 300g Taro, cubed
  • 10g Dried Shrimp, Coarsely Chopped
  • 4 Dried Chinese Mushrooms Soaked, Cubed
  • 2 Cloves Garlic, Chopped
  • 3 Cups of Rice
  • 4 Cups of Water Handful of Friend Shallots Handful of Seasoning
  • 2 Tablespoon of Light Soy Sauce
  • 1 Teaspoon of Salt
  • 1 Teaspoon of Pepper Powderx
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Thick Soy Sauce

    1. Select [MULTICOOK] using menu selection button, turn the handle to a lock position, with the lid still open press cook. heat up the pot and pour oil and pan fry taro cubes untill it turns golden brown. Once it turns, remove the Taro Cubes and place it aside, leaving the oil in.
    2. Retain 1/2 tablespoon of oil in the pot and add chopped chicken and stir fry.
    3. Add dried shrimps, Chinese mushrooms and chopped garlic, then stir fry until it is fragrant.
    4. Add rice, taro cubes, and seasoning and stir well.
    5. Add water and turn the handle to unlock position and close the lid. Select [MIXED RICE] and turn the handle to a lock position and set the timer to 30 minutes.
    6. When the rice cooked, sprinkle shallots on top.
