We cook our rice first, Put all ingredients inside the rice cooker pot and add sufficient water, guided by the lines in the pot. Close the lid and turn the handle to the lock position. Select the [WHITE RICE TURBO] function and press cook.
Next we cook our chicken, With the lid open and the handle turned to the lock position, navigate by using Menu Selection button and select the [MULTICOOK] function. Put 3 tablespoons of oil into the cooker and cook chicken pieces until brown. Remove and set aside. Add the spice paste, star anise and cinnamon to the pot. Sauté until fragrant.
Add the sliced onions, ginger and garlic and cook until the onions are soft. Put in all the other ingredients, including the chicken. Close the lid and turn the handle to the lock position. Ensure that it’s still on the [MULTICOOK] function and press [COOK], Cook for 25 minutes. Finally serve
