Oil Free Chicken Katsu

Juice and crispy fried chicken cutlets that you can easily make at home!

Ingredients

  • 170 Grams of Panko Flour
  • 170 Grams of All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 Piece of Egg
  • 1 Tablespoon of Water
  • 200 Grams of Boneless Chicken
  • A Pinch of Salt
  • A Pinch of Black Pepper
  • Sauce (1 Tablespoon of Vinegar, 1 Tablespoon of Sugar and 1 Tablespoon of Salted Soy Sauce)

Steps

  1. In a separate bowl, pour the panko.
  2. In another separate bowl, pour the flour,
  3. In another third separate bowl, add in and mix the egg with water and whisk it together.
  4. Take the chicken and sprinkle salt & black pepper to the chicken.
  5. Coat the chicken completely with the flour and pat off excess.
  6. Dip the chicken into the egg mixture
  7. Lastly, coat the chicken with panko but press it to make it sticks well.
  8. Repeat all the remaining chicken cutlets. With the lid still, open then lock the handle to a lock position.
  9. Pre-heat the cooker by selecting [OVEN] function using the [MENU SELECTION] button for 15 minutes then press [COOK].
  10. Once cooked, flip the chicken to cook the other side.
  11. Repeat the cooking process to cook all the chicken cutlets.
  12. Once done, drizzle it with sauce.
