Ingredients

MAIN DISH

  • 500g of Pumpkin, Peeled, Deseed and Cut Into Large Cubes
  • 250ml of Coconut Milk
  • 250ml of Water
  • Salt and Sugar, To Taste

BLENDED SPICE PASTE

  • 5 Small Red Onions
  • 2 Large Chillies
  • 1/2 Tablespoon of Turmeric Powder
  • 1 Stalk of Lemongrass, Smashed
  • 1 Teaspoon of Dried Prawns, Soaked in Hot Water for 10 Minutes and Drained

Steps

  1. Turn the handle to Unlock position and open the lid
  2. Place all ingredients (except Coconut Milk, Salt & Sugar), close the lid and turn the handle to the Lock position.
  3. Press the [MENU] button and select the [MULTICOOK] function, set the temperature to 100ᵒc  (If using HN10). Press [COOK] and leave to cook for 20 minutes or until the pumpkin is tender.
  4. Once 20 minutes have passed, turn the handle to the Unlock position and open the lid. Pour in the Coconut Milk, close the lid and turn the handle to the lock position.
  5. Press [COOK] and leave to cook for another 5 minutes.
  6. Once done, turn the handle to the Unlock position and open the lid.
  7. Season the dish with salt and sugar to taste & serve the dish.
