Healthiest Chicken Rice

Who wouldn’t want a combination of healthy and favourite hearty chicken rice.

Ingredients

  • 2 Teaspoon Sesame Oil
  • 4 Cloves Garlic Sliced
  • 1 Star Anise
  • 1 Cinnamon Stick
  • 10 Small Dried Shiitake Mushrooms
  • 4 Chicken Drummets
  • 4 Winglets
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon Light Soy Sauce
  • 2 Teaspoon Dark Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 3 Tablespoon Oyster Sauce
  • 1 Pinch of White Pepper

 

Rice Ingredients:-

  • 1 1/2 Cup Jasmine Rice, rinsed and drained
  • 1/2 Cup Brown Rice
  • 1 Cup Chicken Stock
  • 1 1/2 Cup Water
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  • 2 Tablespoon Oil
  • 1 Slice Fresh Ginger, finely julienned
  • 2 Stalk Spring Onion, Chopped

Steps

    1. Open the lid and turn the handle to the lock position, press the “Menu” button and select “Multicook” function. Press “Start/Cook” and saute the garlic, star anise and cinnamon in sesame oil until fragrant.
    2. Add other ingredients to be sauteed with the chicken and coat the chicken well with the ingredients.
    3. Add all ingredients for the rice and stir.
    4. Press and hold the “Cancel” button for 5-seconds. Close the lid and turn the handle to the lock position. Press the “Menu” button to select the “Mixed Rice” option and Press “Start/Cook”.
