Soft Milk Bread

Milk Bread is a wonderfully light, moist and pillowy soft white bread that you won’t even believe you could cook one from home.

Ingredients

Yeast Mixture;

  • 165 ml of Warm Milk
  • 5 Grams of Caster Sugar
  • 3 Grams of Instant Dried Yeast

 

Dough;

  • 220 Grams of Bread Flour
  • 15 Grams of Caster Sugar
  • 2 Grams of Salt
  • 1 Tablespoon of Milk Powder
  • 15 Grams of Soften Butter
  • 1 Tablespoon of Cooking Oil

Steps

  1. Firstly, we must get the yeast to activate by taking separate bowl then add milk, add sugar then add yeast. Stir to mix & Rest for 5 minutes until its bubbly and foamy.
  2. On another big separate bowl. Add flour, sugar, salt and followed by milk powder. Mix it well with a spatula. Pour in the yeast mixture. Mix with a spatula until no more dried flour.
  3. First proofing. Take a multicooker, open and unlock the handle to the unlock position. Put the dough into the cooker. Press the [MENU SELECTION] button to select [FERMENT BREAD] function. Set it for 20 minutes then press [COOK]. Close and lock the lid by turning the handle to the lock position.
  4. Once finished, open and unlock the lid. Clean the countertop and sprinkle flour. Take the fermented dough and knead it with butter until it comes smooth, soft & elastic.
  5. Second proofing. Open and unlock the handle to the unlock position. Grease it with cooking oil. Put the dough into the cooker. Press the [MENU SELECTION] button to select [FERMENT BREAD] function. Set it for 45 minutes then press [COOK]. Close and lock the lid by turning the handle to the lock position.
  6. Once finished, open and unlock the lid. Push and press the dough to exhaust the air from the dough and take a handful of dough and shape it into a bun and put it into the cooker one by one.
  7. Final proofing. Close & lock the lid by turn the handle to a lock position and select [FERMENT BREAD] using the [MENU SELECTION] button and set it for 35 minutes then press [COOK]
  8. Once done, change the cooking mode to [OVEN] function using the [MENU SELECTION] button and set it to cook for 25 minutes then press [COOK]
