Cajun Spice Salmon

This super-zingy salmon supper is perfect for those on a low-salt diet.

Ingredients

Cajun Spice Mix;

  • 2 Teaspoons of Sweet Paprika
  • 1 Teaspoon of Onion Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon of Garlic Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon of Sugar
  • ¼ Teaspoon of Dried Oregano
  • ¼ Teaspoon of Ground Cumin
  • ¼ Teaspoon of Salt
  • ¼ Teaspoon of Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 Pinch of Cayenne Pepper

 

Salmon Ingredients;

  • 2 Pieces of Salmon Fillet
  • 2 Tablespoons of Olive Oil

 

Dressing Ingredients;

  • 75ml of Mayonnaise
  • 1 Tablespoon of Vinegar
  • 1 Teaspoon of Sugar
  • Hot sauce to Taste
  • Salt and Pepper to Taste

Steps

  1. In a separate bowl, mix all the Cajun spices then set aside.
  2. In another separate bowl, mix all the dressing ingredients then set aside.
  3. Take a multicooker, open and unlock the lid by turning the handle to the unlock position. With the lid still open, turn the handle to the lock position.
  4. Press the [MENU SELECTION] button to select the [OVEN] function. Set the cooking time for 10 minutes and temperature  for 120 degrees then press [COOK]
  5. Take a pastry brush and brush the salmon with olive oil. Press the salmon into the spice mix, flesh side down.
  6. Put the salmon into the cooker and let it grill for 10 minutes each side.
  7. Once the salmon is cooked, Serve the salmon with the dressing.
