Fish Head Curry

Ingredients

  • 1 Fish Head (can use any type of fish)
  • ½ Piece of Large Onion, Sliced
  • 3 Stems of Curry Leaves
  • A teaspoon of Fennel Powder
  • A teaspoon of Fenugreek Seeds
  • 2 Tablespoon of Fish Curry Spice Mix
  • 170 Grams of Turmeric Water (2 Tablespoon of Turmeric Paste plus 250ml of Hot Water)
  • 170 Grams of Water
  • 1 Piece of Brinjal, Sliced Thickly
  • 5 Pieces of Ladies Fingers
  • 1 Piece of Tomato, Quartered
  • Salt to Taste
  • 3 Tablespoons of Oil

Spice Paste (Blended)

  • 3 Cloves of Garlic
  • 5 Pieces of Small Red Onions
  • An inch of Fresh Ginger
  • 1 Inch Fresh Turmeric Root
  • 6 Pieces of Dried Chilies, Soaked in Hot Water for 15 minutes

Steps

  1. With the lid still open turn, the handle turned to the lock position, press the [MENU SELECTION] button to select the [MULTICOOK] function and press [COOK].
  2. Pour the oil into the pot and allow the oil to heat.
  3. Add fennel powder, fenugreek, onion and curry leaves into the pot and proceed to sauté until fragrant.
  4. Add all the other ingredients into the pot (including water, according to the preferred consistency).
  5. Turn the handle to the unlock position, close the lid and turn the handle to the lock position. Press [COOK] and leave it to cook for 15 minutes.
  6. Once done, season to taste and serve.
