Bubur Lambuk

A delicious & nutritious Ramadhan delight, bubur lambuk is the dish for you and your family

Ingredients

MAIN DISH

  • 1 Cup of Rice
  • 125ml of Coconut Milk
  • 1 Tablespoon of Ghee (Optional)
  • 3 Tablespoon of Oil (or 5 Tablespoon of Oil if not using Ghee)
  • Salt & Sugar, to Taste

INGREDIENTS A

  • 20g of Dried Prawns, Soaked in Warm Water for 5 Minutes & Smashed
  • 35g of Fried Onion
  • 3 Cloves of Garlic, Sliced Thinly
  • 1 Large Red Onion, Sliced Thinly
  • 1/2 Inch of Fresh Ginger, Cut Into Matchsticks

SPICES FOR SAUTÉING

  • 1 Cinnamon Stick
  • 2 Cloves of Garlic
  • 1 Star Anise
  • 2 Cardamom Pods
  • 1 Teaspoon of Fenugreek Seeds
  • 1 Candlenuts, Crushed
  •  1 Teaspoon of Cumin Powder
  • 2 Teaspoon of Coriander Powder
  • 2 Teaspoon of White Pepper

Steps

  1. Open the lid and turn the handle to the lock position, then proceed to press the [MENU] button, select the [MULTICOOK] function and press the [COOK] button.
  2. Add in ghee, oil and all the spices and proceed to sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add all the items in the Ingredients A list and continue to sauté until the onions are soft.
  4. Add all of the other remaining ingredients, and pour in water into the mix.
  5. Turn the handle to the unlock position, close the lid and turn the handle back to the lock position. Press the [MENU] button, select the [PORRIDGE] function and press [COOK]. Leave to cook
